Flippy is where the action is! - Neptune Marlin | Disc Golf Gear

Trying out a new disc from the Northeast expo. Have been meaning to try it out for a while, and it was a great day to get out and throw some understable plastic. Good plastic, good disc... definitely understable... great for beginners and shot shaping. I somehow lose my mind and my camera skills are not the best for this one... we all have those days. Thanks so much for watching!

ps. I don't know a lot of Neptune besides this one disc, but I like it, so feel free to check out their website... neptunediscs.com/

LOVE the video!! Thanks Pete! Almost everything in my bag is understable and I appreciate the introduction to Neptune discs and especially the Marlin in "Pearl" plastic.

Thanks for the pearl of wisdom! I like the Genius for just the same reasons you list out. Noodle arm, but I can get it to do things. Right now mine is at the bottom of a lake though! Got a little too flippy on a throw, but there are more at the store!

I haven't heard of this brand. But it is quite a pearl of wisdom about using flippy discs!

Nothing like waking up and turning on a Collins’ video. I can always tell if I am going to have a better round according to how my warm up routine goes. If I get to the parking lot and see a group of players, I may run ahead to the first basket and then stretch between baskets 3 and 4, or 2 and 3. Or start at a random basket. It has only been in the past year or so that I have come to appreciate understable discs. I did not understand the reasoning behind them. I sort of get it now. Sort of. It started with me throwing the Inner Core. I could see that it turned a bit and that I could angle the disc to do more than go straight. (Before this, if a disc got beaten in and turned on release—it was broken. I am committed to writing that in 50% of my YouTube comments) Any way, I am happy to see you featuring a Neptune disc in light of the stupidity of last weekend. I also understand that Pearl plastic is lovely to dye. Keep up the unironic sub-par camera work and the self-deprecating asides, it truly is my favourite part of this channel.
