Flight controllers are essential part of the RC & FPV hobby. We use them in multirotor drones and RC airplanes. With Ardupilot, Betaflight and INAV. In this video let’s explore the vast world of RC & FPV flight controllers. Let’s answer the questions: what is a flight controller, what it does, how we can classify them. And finally, what is the best gyroscope and accelerometer chipset! Yes, it’s MPU6000 but it’s not as much important question as it was years ago.

Great video and nice summary/break down of modern FC's. The CC3d board was a great FC. Would have liked to have seen the continuation of those boards as they were PWM plug and play..but everything changes.

Love your content! Always full of great information. Is there a way, or is there information available on converting a FC target from Betaflight to a target for iNav? Is it incredibly difficult to convert? I have a dozen F7 T-Motor and Hobbywing FC's and I'd love to try iNav with one of those. I currently use some old F4 Matek FC's, but they are getting pretty ancient.

Morning Pavel I have been constructing quadcopters since the days of clean flight and kk 1.2 boards I'm having a problem with a speedy b f405 version 3 board where the elrs receiver connects to my tx16 transmitter and works and shows up in beta flight version 4.4.3 but as soon as you power up the quad with a battery you totally lose the control linkage this is something I've never come across in all my years of flight controllers and many quadcopters that I've made and I have no idea I have only four items connected to these flight controller the elrs receiver on txrx 2 a vista digital system on txrx1 and the GPS on txrx6 and a buzzer connected to the relevant buzzer points all seem to work fine when they quad is connected to the computer but when the quad is powered up still connected to the computer I totally lose receiver connectivity I'm hoping you can help me with this strange problem thanks again Pavel

Привіт. Чи можливо змінити "Output Mapping" для моторів? Якщо в мене S4 пін не працює на FC, я додаю 5й мотор, припаявши його до іншого піна "S5". Така сама ситуація з серво, я його припаяв до іншого піну, але FC веодно показує минуле налаштування.. Можливо прописати або якось поміняти в INAV піни, якщо припаяно по іншому? Дякую.
