This allows you to use well-timed commands to iframe through boss attacks and punish them. - Improved camera view - Critical Mode Bonuses: The following bonuses are granted when playing on Critical mode Keyblade Attacks Hit Enemies Twice Critical Chance is increased, but Defense is lowered +50% Damage With Commands +100% CP and Munny Gain Recover from Status Effects faster Finish Boost Ability (x2) Reload Boost Ability Second Chance Ability Tip: In order to dodge out of a guard, the game makes you do an attack first. If you quickly tap X and then square, you will cancel your guard into an attack, and then quickly cancel that attack into a dodge.

    The Crazy thing is that bosses I-frames now kinda make sense with how much you can do with this mod

    Just like what he said in the beginning. If you weren't paused after every action you do, this game would've been one of the fucking bees knees, and could've been a good competitor against KH2.

  • While it is interesting to see how much smoother the battle system flies by with this mod, it is still pretty disappointing that not a lot of commands have synergy with one another, which would promote more interesting and diverse playstyles. This is something I appreciate about ReCoded with how many commands and mechanics tend to synergize with one another, which seems to be a h.a.n.d staple considering how this also applies towards NEO TWEWY.

  • 2:48 I think being able to be on the same rules as the Bosses not only works to make the game feel fair, but it enhances moments where they play like YOU and pull out Cure. Especially considering the major bosses that literally using the same kinds of weapons as you, it bridges the ludo-narrative dissonance. All of which is exemplified with the Lingering Will V Terranort fight - in all but cape, you've become the Superboss of KH2FM, and now you REALLY get to feel like it.

    Now see this is what the Mysterious Figure fight should have been, a challenging encounter and not a Thunder Surging Breaking the Square button circus act.

    Animation cancels, mobility, camera angle change, this is a true keyblade master experience. The game certainly did push the psp to the max it could, but in the end it doesn't cut off very well just to be a port with how unpolished were the range of the commands, how some overlap, don't connect, and even some doesn't work properly like enemies teleporting or blocking an Ars Solum because it has openings and that you were sold out if the enemy hits you while finishing a command.

  • This makes every Keyblade wielder duel look like a duel between Keyblade wielders, and not a deranged boss fight for either the player or the boss. The fact that you still have to play well helps legitimize this mod. It also really brings out the strengths of all three playable characters. I need to get these games on PC someday.
