Season 2! Confetti Cake - Perfect for kids, perfect for adults! What is your favorite dessert from childhood?
-
SHES READING THE INGREDIENTS 😭
-
Claire reading ingredients will never not be iconic
-
My son baked this cake as a present for his Sisters birthday today…he is a huge fan, watches your you tube videos and just got your “Dessert Person” cookbook with this recipe. Pretty and delicious! He’s wanting to do the Croquembouche for Christmas! (He’s 17) You have inspired him so much! Thank you!
-
she looks so relaxed making her own videos... I love it.
-
vinny: would you say this is a... gourmet version? claire: *war flashbacks*
-
When Claire read the ingredients, I was like “SHE’S DOING THE THING”
-
"I feel like, yes, this is a classic celebration cake, but I think it's a time when no one should need. . . Like, what occasions are there to celebrate? Not a whole lot. So might as well make this cake and have a reason to be happy about something." I went back and listened to that three times.
-
Claire just chucking things into the veggie drawer to make space for the cake is incredibly relatable.
-
“Would you call this the gourmet version? 😏” Claire enters panic mode: “uhhhhhhhhh”
-
Audience: CLAIRE, DO THE THING Claire: Reads the ingredients Audience: SHES DOING THE THING

Just wanted to say I made this and it was incredible!!!! It was honestly the best cake I have ever had, and knowing I made it myself felt so cool. I did use a simple buttercream recipe for the frosting instead (I don’t love creamcheese frosting) but the actual cake was so moist and lovely. Highly recommend!
-
I made this tonight, minus the frosting since I'll do that the day of the party and I'm so pleasantly surprised and proud of myself! Halving the recipe got complicated, but it baked beautifully! Two 9" cake pans baked in 25 minutes. At 15 minutes I switched their spots bc my oven has a hot corner, and 10 more minutes had them perfect and pretty even on top. I've never made a cake from scratch before, let alone this method (plus making cake flour and buttermilk), and I'm thrilled! Thank you!

BA may own the rights of Gourmet Makes. But they don’t own the rights in Reading the Ingredients 🤗
-
damn when she read those ingredients...I realized how much I didn’t miss BA. thankful she’s doing her own thing now
-
She literally has the best intro. It’s so cute and calming ❤️
-
Thank you Claire! I've learned so many tips about frosting a cake. So helpful for anyone who loves making cakes.
-
Claire: "Let me read you the ingredients, for old time's sake" Us: Yes, queen. I would die for you.
-
Hearing Claire say “soy lecithin” is something I didn’t know I so drastically missed
-
Claire is just an absolute genius. Her vocabulary is insane. I'm learning so much just watching her videos.
