Beethoven Symphony no. 3, Guitar Arrangement

Beethoven's third Symphony arranged for solo guitar. Beethoven composed the work in 1803/1804 as he was living in the quiet outskirts of Vienna in Heiligenstadt. The symphony is titled , 'Eroica' or 'Heroic' in English. He originally dedicated it to Napoleon Bonaparte, but after Napoleon crowned himself emperor, Beethoven didn’t like the political turn and scratched out Napoleon's name on the title page.

I arranged it for guitar around 2018 and have made a few recordings in the past, but with different guitars and not so good recording skills. It’s arranged from the beginning to the repeat and it takes the repeat then ends at that section. It is only a fragment of the symphony, but it is a unique piece arranged for guitar. Heiligenstadt is my favorite spot in Vienna as it is peaceful and scenic.
