I think when you title something why John Daly refused to film with me, you should maybe post a short clip in which you are talking about that only. Because it gets annoying to have to try and figure out where in a 50 minute clip you actually talk about that. Take your shows and post shorter clips about certain topics. You will probably get a lot more watches on those shorter clips than the long ones.
  • This is kind of a little snapshot of John Daly's career, isn't it. He's adored and loved by golf fans around the world, he's infamous even. He really missed an opportunity to be himself in front of two million younger fans. Whatever they thought they were losing or trying to gain in negotiations was most likely lost ten fold. John Daly's enjoying a bit of a resurgence lately this could have been a really good push to that momentum he seems to be enjoying lately. I have never seen Rick Shiel's try to defame anyone or portray them in a bad light. I hope John reconsiders in the future, I'd love to watch him play with Rick.
  • You know if it was just up to John Daly- he would have done it all- film, match, podcast, hangout. Unfortunate when “managers”/agents/spouses get involved and the only consideration is money and greed.
  • We went to the event and were massively disappointed with the seniors. We got the feeling they weren't enjoying being there. It must be hard being millionaires and having to play golf for yet more money at the worlds best golf courses. Cheer Up!

If I were John Daly I would fire my manager with immediate effect for total incompetence!! They harped on about his name and brand but took a pass on getting him featured on the best Golf YT channel out there, and bringing him to a wider, younger audience? His wife needs to clearly not be involved and the manager has to go. This is gross incompetence and lack of awareness of society and brand building in todays world.

I think it’s super frustrating not to have been able to film with John as I bet he would have loved to be on a video and podcast. Just think some management agencies don’t get it and don’t see the bigger picture.
  • One thing is clear watching any videos with John in it, John expects to be paid. His attitude is very much "pay me and I'm down for whatever". Not faulting him for that, he is a product that drives engagement.

LIV is showing how many among us truly believe that, "there was more money in it for me," is a sufficient reason to justify just about anything. Sad really.

Why John Daly refused to film with Rick Shiels: I'd have rather had a 10 second video saying the reason than have to sift through 46 mins in what ultimately became a clickbait title. Bad taste in mouth for this channel after this

Regarding Liv Golf, it will be THE international tour and will get massive crowds in China, Japan, Australia etc. PGA missed a trick being the international tour...this is where Liv Golf will win market share

Remember LIV is just doing an invitational series, there real LEAGUE competition hasn’t even started yet
  • I went to the LIV Golf event in Portland. I thought it was incredible. It was well put together and very exciting to watch in person. I would definitely go back if they return next year.

One of my favourite things to watch on the PGA and European tours are the guys fighting to keep their tour cards coming down the stretch run in the season. It is so much less compelling that LIV players don't have any incentive to play well besides money.

Your take on LIV golf is Hilarious! You love watching half a golf tournament round on TV (3hours) with commercials vs LIV full golf tournament round (5 hours) no commercials. It’s like choosing to buy a car with no tires and mirrors when you could’ve bought a fully equip car. Love you guys

I attended the LIV tournament in Portland. The crowds were huge. The golf course was extremely tough, and we saw some outstanding golf. I got to meet Bryson, Abe, Dustin, Matt Wolff, etc. It was such a more relaxed fun atmosphere. I have been to many PGA tour events, and I’m sorry but they just don’t hold the handle compared to LIV in reference to entertainment. There was a great finish on 18. As a fan, I really appreciated the shotgun start. It was great fun…

Thanks for bringing up the emotion with Tony Finau. I cried myself watching with my 3 year old son. You can see how good it feels to earn it, like he said.

Infograph arrives on the net showing the same investors as LIV own a stake in Rick Shiels PGA Ltd. All of a sudden a wild Rick appears with an "opinion". LIV is great, it's already helped players on the PGA earn what they are owed, especially at the lower end development levels.
  • For me there is one reason to watch LIV. Its the only Golf Event i can actually watch here in Germany for free.
