Probably Eric Clapton's most underrated classic. His decision to let Marcy Levy duet with him was genius. Amazing song. As someone else stated on here, Marcy gives it life, while Eric gives it soul.

In my humble opinion...the best song on this infamous album, tho it's not played nearly as much as other songs...this is a masterpiece!
-
This song has one of the deadliest grooves of all time. A masterpiece.
-
Best song on the album.
-
Infectious grove. Smokin guitar. Piercing sax. Hot lyrics. Steady rythmn. A masterpiece.
-
This is perhaps my favorite Clapton song, like it just as much now as I did long ago under a different sun.
-
As a guitarist that's been playing the 🎸 guitar for over 40 years now i just love that main guitar riff who agrees with me?😊 please comment thank you!

I don’t play this one much. But when I do , the neighbors get to listen to it too
-
Best Clapton era, and this song is so FREAKING GREAT!!
-
IMHO this is the BEST tune Clapton ever recorded. Marci is fantastic!!!!
-
Should have been released as a single. Great tune, deserved airtime. Always loved Marcys voice.
-
A truly under rated Clapton classic. One of my favorites by him. I love the duet between Clapton and Macy, and the rhythm section (especially the drums) is super tight. A highlight on Slowhand for sure.
-
A band absolutely smoking running on all cylinders and Marcy's vocals are ridiculous
-
I love to refer to this song as a "Speaker tester", must be played on amp's highest setting, blow out the walls and windows LOUD! Thanks Marcy so much! The Core was made for moving! Carl and Jamie, Rest in Peace my friends, long live The Tulsa Sound!
-
A song that never, ever gets old. That's the test. Clapton Is God!
-
For me...this is THE Clapton classic.
-
