I think the game is at It's strongest when you take on a monster solo, which might be an unpopular opinion. I do really enjoy playing the game with others though, there is just something about learning the moves of a monster when It's only focused on you and taking it down that for me personally is the most fulfilling aspect of MH.

“Poogie has appeared in every monster to date” Rise: “yeah, about that...”

this is the true monster hunter movie if u think about it
  • My favorite part of this is the part where you talk about the history of Monster Hunter

I fell asleep to this, and had a dream where I actually had more than 2 IRL friends that had rise, and we all had a monster Hunter party in our patio, fire burning, and well-done steak cooking. It was one of the best dreams I've had in a while. :')

“Green Plesioth, that son of a BITCH.” I choked, I love how professional you kept your tone it threw me tf out. 😭 Amazing video.

Monster Hunter Rise is my first proper run, and I'm so in love with it that I wanted to know everything I could about the series. That led me here, so thanks for your work.

My guy, I have a newborn and dozing off to these amazingly constructed and well recorded videos is currently keeping me sane. Not that the content is boring, mind you, but your voice is very relaxing, the duration is nice and long, and the way you talk about things helps me construct a picture in my head even if my eyes are closed. Thanks so much for all of your mh content!

The pain of editing this must have been worse than whatever killed the ancient civilazation

I've been unfathomably in love with Monster Hunter for so many years now. It wasn't until Freedom Unite that I finally got friends to buy PSPs and play with me. The thousands of hours sunk into Ad-Hoc party on PS3 are some of my fondest gaming memories ever. Of the friends I played with I still have one, and he and I still find time to play at least a few hours a month. We ran through Iceborne and will start on Rise. I'm really glad the series is so much more popular now, it looks like it won't be going anywhere and future iterations are sure to come. Love the channel, man! All this content is awesome! I'm about to start Rise tonight, looking forward to many more years of this amazing series.

WHAT?! Petting the Poogie doesn't increase luck?! I have been living in a world of lies since 2006 😂

I can't express enough how badly I wish I could have played this series from the start, or from the very popular PSP games. I'm sure my younger self might have not understood this game as much as when I finally did start playing. But I'm glad I did find this game and start playing it as seriously as I have because it's become my second favorite series of all time and I really am hoping that it stays popular well after Monster Hunter: World :3
  • Looked this up just by chance after playing a little MHW. Wondered what the old ones were like. Was not expecting this level of quality, or to find it was made by the coolest looking guy in a sweater to've lived.

Yes. Inject this straight into my veins, even though i’ve seen them all 3 or more times
  • @codysykes5568
Petting Poogie is kind of a ritual for me getting ready for a hunt. I made a short guide one time for pre-hunt checks that included the final and most important task a Hunter must do: Don't forget to pet the Poog! Good luck head pats :)

the story behind me starting monster hunter feels like a major lesson to me, my father bought me monster hunter world as a gift. I never heard of the games and didn’t even know if I’d like game, but because he went out of his way to buy it for me I gave it a try. Some years later my father is sadly no longer with me and I have over a thousand hours between mhw,mhr and mhgu. Don’t be so quick to judge things, you never know if you could really like it.
