I love the Government system this season. Grian - DMV Pearl, Tango, Etho - Postal Bdubs - Judicial Scar, Skizz - Law enforcement.

For the searchlight, you could totally place a calibrated sculk sensor underneath that detects footsteps, and then plays a horn that sounds like a police siren (klaxon)! It would make it so that if a hermit steps into the light, an alarm goes off detecting intruders!

Information/Evidence regarding your stolen Diamonds: Ron had nothing to do with it. He is a bystander in the situation that he got dragged into and is unable to get out of it. As the situation was created by the snails who had turned his store into their shop, a shop which they managed to find a loophole in the law to open. The Law states that for a Hermit to open a shop, they require a permit for whatever they wish to sell. However, the snails are not hermits. And as such means they can open whatever shop they want without breaking the law. And the situation is far worst than you think. As the diamonds within the Chests at Big Ron's are payment diamonds. Which means that hermits had already bought your Deepslate Diamond Ore blocks from the snails. And with how the shop is legit in the eyes of the law, it will be difficult to get it shut down. However, it is possible for you to file a complaint at the Permit Office. You just need to fill out the required forms and "PLEASE HOLD" for when someone can help you.

Might want to look into a lawyer Scar, I have a feeling this is going to be a corrupt defense . Especially when suing those crooked snails, and if Grian and Gem aren't implicated with their snails I shudder to believe they might end up as the lawyers.
