ArenaNet have a tradition of doing silly things on April Fool's Day in the Guild Wars franchise, all the way back from the mid-2000's. However, this one was so well-received and admired by most who played it, it now has its own festival each year. Quite a step up from a "joke" 10 years ago.

And now finally we have a working prototype "test area" for World 3, aka: Sparkling Pools - the first time since that map was last seen in 2014.
