Making Dinosaur Eggs

Published 2024-06-28
We are making dinosaur eggs today. What you need is 16 ounces of baking soda, 1/4 cup of water, food coloring, cling wrap, bowls, and of course dinosaur toys. Mix the baking soda and water to make the paste. If the mixture doesn’t feel like paste, then add a little more water. Divide into bowls and add food coloring. Stir the color in. Take a piece of cling wrap and add a little of each color from the bowls. Put the dinosaur or any other toy in the middle and close it up around it. Make it tight and secure with a tie. We put them in a pan overnight. When they are frozen, take out and put in another deep pan. Get distilled vinegar and syringes (or really anything) and start putting it on the egg. Keep doing this until the toy is free of the egg. Make sure to have plenty of rags or towels to clean up. Parent supervision is required!!!
