Gameplay and overview of the FOURTEENTH expansion pack to The Sims 4. This time it's all about HORSE ranching. And some goats and sheep, too. Riding, breeding, competitions, cave diving, nectar making, mustaches, denim... Is it worth the $40 price tag? Let's see!

Funny how sims 4 has a longer life span than 3 or 2 yet still feels like its a shadow of those two.

I totally get and understand why you're so burnt out on Sims 4 content, but I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I do appreciate and love whenever you dive back into it for stuff like this. Thank you, LGR.

Seeing what the Sims 4 has become makes me want nothing more than to see Paralives and Life By You come out sooner.

Another fun fact about the goats and sheep: Since they're treated as objects by the game, you can use the "devour" interaction from the werewolf DLC on them as well

I appreciate that LGR keeps reviewing Sims stuff, even as the channel has moved away from Game Reviews content. I love the current direction of the channel best, but I also get weirdly excited about new Sims pack reviews because it feels kind of nostalgic, ironically

THAT'S IT?? That is an EXPANSION? This is just everything that should've been in Pets.
  • @SyntheticGoth
Modders found coding for horses as early as Cats & Dogs, and the world had a style that looked like it was meant to include them. There's also a unicorn object in the debug menu. It's pretty clear that developers have intentions of including a lot more features in these packs, but they are on such a strict deadline, they can't complete them in time and are told to put them in another pack and tie a pretty bow around it. The piecemealing is actually laughable and quite sad.

At this point, in The Sims 5, cats, dogs, small pets, and horses will all be a separate $40 pack

I know it's a good day when LGR's doing Sims 4 reviews. Poor Ralph isn't even an entity anymore, he would've needed to be reincarnated like 8 times just to go through the horror of losing more limbs with each release.

The fact that one 10 minutes review is enough to cover everything this pack offers...
  • @zesty2023
I love how your expansion reviews have slowly gone from nostalgia to genuine interest, to outfight resentment lol
  • @91_C4_FL
The enthusiasm from LGR when they announce Sims 5 will be amazing lol
  • @Whitewingsx
I love how Duke looks. He looks like he going to catch outlaws with his trusty steed.

Sims 3 always wins. Every. Single. Time. Pets was chock full of content and it was a stellar package. ONE expansion gave you countless hours of additional fun.
  • @zakoreastwind
Your sims reviews are way more fun than the actual game and the "still no cars" bit never disappoints 😂
  • @mothamaeghan
I know it's off topic but can I just say how much I appreciate LGR having really good Closed Captions on his videos, and having them as soon as the videos go live? It's a level of effort most youtubers don't go to and it's great LGR isn't, well, lazy when it comes to this
  • @moodyboobsjanna
The "Just hop in your pickup truck with your horse trailer attached and go.. WAIT! NOPE!" Got me 😂🤣💀 This is the review I always look forward too. Thanks LGR!
  • Can’t believe Sims 4 is 9 years old already, we can only hope next year it will be put to rest.
  • @harvest5218
This made me want to play the Sims 3 again. Time to make a horse riding Vampire that owns the town!
