Shagufta aunty, i admire you a lot as a mum, wife, aunt, friend & as a muslim who follows her deen precisely. One thing i will never understand is you keeping dogs inside your home. They are everywhere licking things, in the kitchen, where you pray. In Islam, we are only allowed to keep them as a guide dog or for security outside the house. Please do not take this as a negative comment.
