This actually heavily falls along the lines of what I thought what happened to Bonnie. New details you brought up about the Afton Virus however is what I glossed over before. Seeing the animatronics while you're climbing through the vents, they seem fine (Monty is angry as hell and that's a little weird, but that's it). The one that stuck out the most to me is Chica. She's clearly fluid in movements and just jamming out, enjoying herself, but later on, after Freddy and Vanessa talk and Freddy goes to his recharge station, Chica is moving very erratically and slumped like a Zombie. I don't think this was just the animatronics being weird at night anymore because of what you said. Freddy actually might've gotten saved from being infected because he was helping Gregory. What Freddy says throughout the game and how he acts is telling. He's THOROUGHLY convinced that his friends are unable to hurt people despite what's happening in the game. I don't think this is just Freddy running is mouth. The only exception is Chica's love for Pizza causing her to get a little out of pocket with guests soometimes. The reason I'm mentioning this is because I don't think Bonnie, despite previous games, was an aggressive animatronic. At least he wasn't in a bad way. He still may have been an active animatronic (matches with the whole bunny aesthetic) and I think this might have led him to be the FIRST to realize some fuckery was happening here. Going off of the previous habits of the animatronics from the games might not be best and the reason I say that is because of Freddy. This guy is now one of the most caring personalities I've seen, which doesn't really match with how he's acted in other games (i.e. malicious and sadistic). So I don't think it's fair to match that with Glamrock Bonnie. These seem to be the most advanced versions of the animatronics to date and they clearly have their own personalities. Not to mention Glamrock Freddy clearly misses Bonnie. If Bonnie was an aggressive animatronic, I don't think Freddy would sound so sad when speaking about him. Like you said, they were likely close. With that in mind, we see how Freddy prioritizes helping Gregory when he sees him in distress. I don't believe Freddy would've gotten so close to someone who wouldn't respond the same way. I believe, like some other people do. That Bonnie simply was the first to notice something was up because of how active he is OR he actually may have been trying to help another child like in Gregory's situation. We now know that this isn't the only disappearance at the Pizzaplex. I also wouldn't be surprised if a child went to Bonnie for help because in the messages, it's alluded that Bonnie was REALLY popular. To the point people kept asking about him long after their disappearance and it's what lead to them trying to purge all of the merch of Bonnie. The asking of Bonnie's disappearance got so bad they alerted upper manangement as a matter of fact. They could never find the lad either. I think Vanny realized she had to have him removed entirely. She couldn't let his AI survive because of how active it is. Replacing another animatronic should be easy since you can just slap another shell on it and reprogram an Endo for it but they just...got rid of a massively popular character like Bonnie? Just like that? Yeah bullshit. Notice that in also some of the endings where Freddy escapes with Gregory (and Vanny is still out and about), they don't replace Freddy either. Which makes even less sense considering everything is named after him. None of these Glamrock animatronics don't seem to be inherently hostile. That includes Bonnie. I really hope the DLC is either us finding Glamrock Bonnie and learning the truth from him or we possibly play as another child WITH Glamrock Bonnie aiding us like Freddy did for Gregory. It'd be...painfully bittersweet but imo it would explain a lot.

I think Bonnie was bored, went exploring, and the ballpit balls fell over and killed him. Extra points for angst if Monty was practicing golf or something and witnessed it. If Bonnie was going up to the scaffolding to prank Monty and was damaged too heavily for salvage, he might have been a prankster giving a bit of character details like how Roxy is overly competitive and hard on herself and Monty has trouble with containing his anger.

THEORY: Bonnie didn't pay his cars extended warranty.

There are a ton of weird details in Gator Golf that indicate Bonnie could still be there. Right next to the security office in Gator Golf thereā€™s a seemingly unlocked door. Normally thereā€™d be an Out of Order sign or itā€™d be a Level 10 door, but this is just a normal door that cannot be opened. That stood out to me and made me think thereā€™s something more behind it. Thereā€™s also a weird vault-style door on the inside of the giant walkthrough Monty mouth. On one side is a plain metal wall, but the other has a weird door-shaped indent with what looks like four metal switches or pulley handles. It stuck out to me since itā€™s in such an obvious location but thereā€™s seemingly no explanation for what exactly it is. If you also follow the path in that Missing report, every location you pass through has Bonnie plushes. And those places (East Hall helpdesk/prize counter, East Arcade prize counter, Monty Golf prize counter) as far as I can tell are the only places on the map that have Bonnie plushes. Iā€™m convinced Bonnie is still locked away somewhere in Monty Golf, and the DLC will involve Freddy and Gregory trying to find and free him.

I also think there is more going on behind Bonnie dissapearance than just "Monty destroyed him". The game doesn't show much of Monty, not even his personality really, but two things interesting about Monty that we learn on the notes is that 1 - Monty always cause destruction after the shows after he got his new claws, not just when the show go wrong. 2 - Monty misses the show time multiple times in the past because he decided to go back to his Golf area. I wonder if he actually, did NOT, want to be one of the main show animatronics, and is trying to break the claws made for that (maybe the claws tamper with his golf abilities?). And I wonder if Roxie fear of "not being good enough" was because she also was forced to take Foxy place on the band for who knows reasons. I think Vanny did something to Bonnie, since we don't know exactly what happened to him and Vanny can tamper with the cameras. About WHEN the animatronics got infected with Afton, I think at least Chica was right on the start of the game, when Gregory goes on Rockstar Row, she is practicing, but after we open Freddy's door and enter him, if we check on her greenroom, now she is just staring and glicthing at the window. And the big mystery to me is about, was Bonnie REALLY a Glamrock version, or did they reform the robots to that design after his dissapearance? I say that because, Bonnie Bowl design and his plushie we find, are all his original design, same goes fo
  • A detail I find interesting is, in the 'missing' message, it says Bonnie goes to the east arcade. This might not seem interesting, but the east arcade is one of the two locations Freddy suggests might have a way out. The way out is a fire escape you can't use because it needs a high level clearance. A clearance that is unknown to Freddy, hinting it's been raised recently? (In fact, if you go the other way, Freddy makes a comment about that door also suddently having a higher level clearance and something 'not being right') Is it possible Bonnie was also trying to help a child out of the megaplex? And that's why Vanny raised the security of all the exits? And got rid of Bonnie?
  • @movixel174
Fun fact: Monty actually didnā€™t have a green room yet until Bonnie was dismantled. Montys current room on rockstar row was Bonnieā€™s old one.
  • @sggy_nOodls
Im sick of people blaming monty for everything regarding bonnie. For starters, the game never confirmed that monty did it. He probably wasnt even built until after. Second, its not his fault hes a replacement. Blame the company
  • I think Freddy knows more than he lets on. When he says "Vanny, Vanessa, that can't be a coincidence", he's trying to give Gregory the pieces. I think Freddy knows what happened to Bonnie, knows what Vanny has and will do, but he didn't say anything because he didn't want to end up like Bonnie.
  • @europaren6879
Pretty sure Vanny used Bonnie as a template to rebuild burntrap, and let Glitchtrap infect his AI, as the glamrocks have a lot of systems that Glitchtrap alone could not control, him being the digitized partial mind of a human (if you're familiar with PC drivers it works pretty much like that). Makes sense that Bonnie could not be rebuilt as the only copy of his AI was loaded into his endoskeleton, and is now corrupted.
  • Not to mention, if Monty did indeed decommissioned Bonnie then staff would definitely find out (knowing how many security cameras in one place is) and would instead decommission Monty while trying to fix Bonnie. If Monty is the attacker why scrap Bonnie? For all they know Monty could try to destroy the others, making them lose more money for the repairment and knowing the Fazbear company they would hate that.
  • Monty could not have destroyed Bonnie because he only breaks stuff with the new claws... that he was outfitted with to replace Bonnie as the bass player, meaning he was already gone at that point.
  • @domatheghost_
Theory: Bonnie didnā€™t pay his taxes and his bill after eating pizza.
  • One of the main reasons I believe that Monty didn't kill Bonnie, at least for fame, is because it is said in one of the messages that Monty didn't show up to the performance; and apparently, this wasn't the first time he skipped it either. I think it's odd. If he had really wanted to be the star of the show, wouldn't he try harder? But I'm sure there are plenty of things I've missed as I haven't played this game for myself.
  • Random thought: What if the docile endoskeleton in Parts & Services (Next to the protective cylinder) is what's left of Bonnie? It's obviously gone through orientation and programmed not to be hostile to people, unlike the other endoskeletons that are encountered. So it's likely been in action before, but is too damaged and inoperable to be used anymore. That, plus the concept that Monty being more popular than Bonnie suggested that it was no longer an urgent matter to repair Bonnie and so therefore, his casing was discarded or simply put away to be utilized later if something happened to someone else like Freddy or Monty.
  • @redtailarts101
Many people have theorized that Burntrap's body is made from Bonnie. Vanny probably lured Bonnie to Gator Golf and did something similar to the Monty and Gregory fight, but without Bonnie being hostile, instead trying to escape Vanessa. Bonnie was not snapped in half, but did end up with his casing and parts of his endoskeleton destroyed heavily. With Bonnie destroyed, Vanny took him far underground. She set up the recharge station so Glitchtrap's virus could infect him, and she used Bonnie's parts to repair Scraptrap. This would make Burntrap an amalgamation of sorts. Glitchtrap then infected the system, and implanted his consciousness into the Burntrap body.
