Congratulations! That was an awesome declutter. I'm so happy for you that you've really learned what you like and what looks best on you. I also did a declutter earlier this year. Mine was cut throat. I found out my color season was bright winter so my choices now are mostly bold and pinks, so we're opposites. I found it freeing as well. I bought clear display organizers for lipsticks from Amazon, and I paired the matching lipliners with them. I've gotten so much use out of my collection since then.

i’ve also grown bored of bullet lipsticks. when i used to think i’d live and die with my matte lipsticks 😂 lip oils and balms have really sunk their claws into me ✨

You have some of the most considered declutters around, love them. I tend to put a clear gloss over lightly applied bullet lipsticks to make them look more relaxed 😆

Your declutters are the best, so logical and organized x) I personally can't stand glosses and too creamy formulas since I somehow always feel their presence on my lips and it kinda irks me xD but I love how you keep everything along with how your tastes change! Really inspires to work on my own too big of a collection x)

I’ve been on a mission the last year or so to decrease the amount of lip products I own too. It was helpful at the time to get to try so many different products but now I know what I wear and frankly don’t need 20 different products kicking around. I’m good with a red, a brown, a nudey berry, and a gloss. But I’ve been trying to use mine up not declutter them, it’s slow going 😅. I’ve used up 4 so far, I’m gonna be here a while lol 🙃

I thought i was a bullet lipstick girl, but other than then looking pretty in the trays I'm not reaching for them, lipliner and gloss are my go to. You did great.. I'm impressed.

lol the lipstick gate joke 😂 This was such a good declutter and you stayed strong 💪🏽 Maybe when you are next keen to buy a lippie you can get a lawless one in a shade you will wear everyday I had to declutter a ton of my lipsticks last year bc I realized I wasn’t wearing them enough and they were old/expiring! I had to replace them with new ones so I only repurchased shades I really loved.

I love the way a bullet lipstick looks, but my lifestyle just doesn't really work for them anymore. I'm a hydrated girly now, usually have at least 2 drinks going at once. A lightly tinted balm or almost clear gloss is me 95% of the time I'm wearing anything on my lips at all.

That lighter brownish one from Elf, and that beautifully packaged dusty orange one -- so cool that turquoise container but never heard of that brand !! So interesting, for me I need a bullet lipstick and I really don’t like tinted lip balms. I’m a teacher and I want my lips to look the same from first period through the end of the day. A tinted lip balm needs to be reapplied too much for me to be bothered!

I had to laugh when you said you don't like purple Mauves, that is the main color of "Mauve is a bluish purple, but I do understand I'm a fair cool so pinky mauves are my favorite. Also I tossed all my bullet lipsticks a few months ago, I kept one blue red and one mauve. I've been mostly wearing lip balms with a bit of liner or a sheer gloss, I still love the ones from Milani the Raspberry/peach is my favorite.
