How Speedrunners Broke Hitman's Hardest Difficulty

I still can't get over the fact that everyone who heard some shots at an undisclosed location prioritize that over a bald man running at them with a Sniper Rifle

I adore the fact that a valid stealth tactic is shooting a guard so they won't notice you have a gun.

"We'll throw a muffin to regain his interest" is one of my favorite things I've heard in a speedrun explanation.

Imagine being some super important individual who has narrowly escaped multiple assassination attempts just to die to some guy who launched a stick of C4 through your window while gliding down the street on a muffin.

"Now we'll bump this guard so he doesn't notice us trespassing" I love this sentence so much.

This game has one of the most interesting speedrunning scenes I’ve ever seen in my life, and at the end of the day it still feels very hitman with the amount of precise input and perfect timing needed to pull it off. Truly an awesome feat

Hitman has got to be the only game where watching entire cutscenes actually saves time.

I always thought “How the hell did these guys get times under a minute?” whenever I checked the leaderboard. Now after watching this video I am absolutely shocked how fast missions can be done.

Hitman 3 with the full trilogy is possibly the most fun sandbox i’ve ever played. Legit everything is possible and it’s hilarious and satisfying to pull the stunt off.

The ability of speed runners to find glitches or loopholes in the code has always astounded me.

The context and structure of this video is so well done. Makes it watchable for anyone. Most speedrun genre videos aren’t broken down or explained because they are for people who already follow or know terminology or the game. Good job.

I love these Hitman speedruns. I saw a react video from the devs reacting to speedruns and they really got a kick out of the muffin trick.

Love this! I honestly think more speedrunners should do videos like this because even if you're entertained it can be hard to understand what's going on if you're new. Great video :)

I cannot believe how creative runners are with these games. It takes such a high level of creativity, planning and practice. That bomb launch at the start of Paris is one of the coolest tricks I've ever seen in any game. The flexibility of the World of Assassination trilogy (and the entire franchise, but especially WoA) is mindblowing. The fact that you can take 2 hours to slowly figure out an incredibly complex set of actions for success, run in guns blazing and run out, or somehow figure out these 9 million IQ speed strats, and have them all be viable, is just incredible.
