7000+ TNT!! | Vanilla S3 - Ep31

Published 2024-04-08
To make sure I have different options for things to work on in this world so that I'm not always stuck building mountains I decided I wanted to make some initial progress on a Nether Perimeter that will eventually house a super fast gold farm!

This does mean I need a lot of resources, and a lot of grinding to achieve the first stages in this episode!

Also I moved house in the middle of filming so apologies for the delay!

Hope you enjoy!

And as always, don't forget to take care of yourselves!

New Home, New Office, New You? Yes I read the Twitch Notification, but being in the Netherlands I wasn't able to watch. Would not mind seeing an Office Setup tour. If you're comfortable with such a thing. The hole looks HUGE! (That's what she said?) Looking forward to seeing how it looks like in the end! And also, there's a way with crafters that ignite TNT minecarts that cause a lot bigger explosions. I think that would definitely be a good thing to consider to use in such a big perimeter like this one. It doesn't dupe TNT or anything!

I hope the move went well and that you're all cozy 💚

Hiya Bobble, pyfro here on my alt. Loved the episode as always. The rabbit dying at the beginning was incredibly poorly timed as I was taking a sip of water and nearly laughed so hard I choked. Excited to see what you do in the future in this world!

Looks like a great project! If you want the outer wall to be smooth without too much manual digging or building it up again, you should consider digging a one wide trench and let lava flow down there. This blocks the explosion like water. Just take care of the diagonals as explosion can reach through there.

That's a great project! I always disliked how the nether roof is accessible because that sounds like an unintended feature. Seeing someone doing farms under the roof is so refreshing and exciting

It might be worth it to build small flying machines to get rid of a lot of floating lava sources. Flying machines will definitely be worth it for any lava lakes toward the bottom of the perimeter.

Another thing: it would be really cool if you had a smaller “donut hole” in the Nether roof. I know you won’t be building up there, but I think it would look so nice.

Would it be easier to gather the lava sources in buckets and dump them into a single space?

Enjoyed the video. I do wonder if you have a project for the End...?
