Sometimes life is so overwhelming, hang in there your perseverance will pay off. Both my daughters live in different cities alone and have called me multiple times in full on melt down mode. Don’t apologize for real feelings. Having a nonjudgmental ear to talk to helps. So I’m sending you a virtual Mom hug that’s what they always miss when in crisis.Take care.

I went through a very similar situation at the end of last year (end of long term relationship, health complications, trouble with my job, car problems, cross-country move, and visa issues all within a couple months) and it was such a comfort to hear you talk about your experience. Every single thing you mentioned was a thought I had then - and sometimes still have about my current state of life. Your emotions are valid and you're not alone in what you're going through, even when you feel lonely. I feel like I'm nearly through with all of it now but the only thing I can say is don't beat yourself up about getting upset or feeling bad! 💗

Good morning.. everyone, Good morning Alexis, Good morning Bennett.. as I am watching this vlog at 4:09am Wednesday Morning. Have an awesome rest of your week everyone, much peace, love and blessings to you all :goodvibes:🙏
  • Please never worry about talking about your life. No matter how “privileged” your life is, your troubles and anxieties are VALID. Never think they’re not. ❤

One of the reason that I’ve been watching you for the past couple of months is becuase you are vocal about your heath anxiety and the whole thing. I was going through some weird bad mental health stuff when I found you and hearing you talk about your stuff made me feel less alone and made me feel like things do get better. They have for me and I’m hoping that everything else with you appointments and insurance get better cuz it really does suck. And I completely understand what you mean when you say that you can’t do anything else when you have such a big thing looming over you.

Alexis, I am so very sorry this is happening... things will get better and better. This vlog is wonderful and we all adore you just as you are. Hug Bennett for me... he is a doll face. You have a wonderful channel. wonder me one of your honorary Aunties, always here to cheer you on! 50K any day!

Oh Alexis I just wanted to give you a hug when you were crying. I’m so sorry this is going on for you! You’re totally valid to be feeling like this - don’t feel like you need to apologise.
  • @ClaireSteber
I’m so sorry Alexis! I have been thinking about you and sending you good vibes. The health care system sucks and you deserve better, but it will all be okay in the end!

My cat has a similar attitude. He likes to be nearby, but no contact unless it’s on his terms (he’s a former feral). Thanks for sharing with us.

Don’t worry everyone has really stressed and bad days, I have had them❤️ I know how you feel with your health, I went through a health scare with my heart a year later ,finding out I did have issues and got on meds they help a lot! Try not to get to stressed and they will figure out if there is a problem or hopefully not and you will get it under control ❤️

Hi, Alexis..... not sure if you like this suggestion, but here's my fave & easiest way to prepare chicken. You might like it because it's a time saver & you can get other things done in your home while it's cooking. And, you can meal prep this way, too..... here goes: 3 to 4 chicken breasts in a pyrex ( or whatever you can bake in ) Brush your chicken breasts with olive oil & a marinade / season the way you like ( if you brush the breasts w olive oil, it will hold in the juices/ tenderness of the chicken ) You can add baby carrots all around your chicken breasts or halved ruby red potatoes Black pepper & seasonings Put foil on top of your pyrex & put little holes in the foil so that it steams well Bake for 45 minutes at 425 Farenheit This will come out so juicy, tender & DELICIOUS! It makes a lot, but you can freeze what you can't eat & thaw when needed. Your apt will smell delicious while it bakes & you can get lots done while it's baking. This is why it's my favorite way to prepare chicken...... I put it in the oven, set the timer & walk away! Sometimes I prep it early on and then feel like I have dinner ready to go, just pop in the oven! Bon Apetite! Ann. : )

Awwww Alexis, please don't fret about getting upset and overwhelmed. Adulting is undeniably hard and we all have a bad run of it sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for crying, I would have been freaking out trying to schedule that appointment. Hope your week gets better now. x

I’m much older than you but I can definitely relate with feeling lonely. I’m blessed with a great support system but after my hubby passed and having to do everything on my own is frustrating! Life can be rough but thank you for showing us shit gets real and it’s ok to vlog about the not so good because that’s reality! Stay blessed!

I relate to you so much Alexis! I really really appreciate your candor about the health anxiety, and I hope in talking about it in your vlogs you feel less alone. I'm 31 and extremely fortunate to have an amazing life and everything I've always wanted, much like yourself, but I also have health anxiety and have spiraled many times about mysterious health issues. I had to get a biopsy of my thyroid a few years ago (was your age) and was just a complete nervous wreck. I went to a piano concert with a friend during the week that I was waiting for the results and was crying and confiding in him about it and he treated me like I was insane! Which totally hurt and made me feel truly crazy. Luckily for me, everything turned out completely fine and not serious at all, and I'm thriving and FAR less anxious about things now than I was then. It's wonderful to remind yourself that things could be much worse and to be grateful for everything you have, but always remember that no matter how fortunate you are in life, things can still be really hard and exhausting and it's okay to be upset (I think you know this). I'm down in FL wishing you well, and hoping that you feel less alone when you read the comments!

Malt Liquor is a great way to calm down just enough to stay calm
  • @DeannaRichards
I feel what you’re saying about adjusting to not having a partner on SOOO many levels! And you are 100% allowed to complain about inconveniences in your life. On the plus side, you’ve been killing the game this year despite all of the madness! 🩷
  • @sgleinser
Sending big hugs! ❤ I know how rough it is to feel both lucky and unlucky at the same time and struggle with things on your own. Hoping this hard time passes quickly.
  • @richardottley4611

I also have a ferrel cat from nyc and for the first year I didn’t even think he liked me.. then gradually he would get closer to me and now it’s been almost three years and he is constantly by my side, in my lap, or laying next to me. Just give Bennett some time.
