I'm From Singapore, and in South East Asia/ ASEAN region (compromising of 10 countries ), the Filipino are renowned for their singing and musical talent. They are the most gregarious and fun loving nationality in South East Asia. Filipinos are very musically gifted. What a joy listening to these beautiful and incredibly talented Filipino kids.

Singing is not a hobby. It's a way of life in the Philippines.
-
In the old days in the Philippines, singing is part of a courtship called "Harana". The man will visit the girl at night and will sing outside with a guitar, to please the girl he loved. We are like the penguins in the movie "Happy Feet" who sings their heart out to get a partner in life. 😂 But sadly those good old days are gone now.😢 Nowadays, Filipinos sing with a videoke in every occasions and gatherings. Singing have been a part of a Philippine culture ever since.❤

Fun fact: one of the judges was/is the legendary Disney Princess Lea Salonga (singing voice of Mulan and Jasmine).
-
One of the judges is Lea Salonga, the singing voice of two Disney princesses, Mulan and Jasmine from Aladdin. She's also a well-known name in theater as she was the original Miss Saigon.
-
Were so blessed that almost all born in our country have the ability to sing ,not just sing but having multi lingual talents😀
-
I had tears in my eyes for the boy who sang Amazing Grace. Allow me to breathe, just like you do! I agree, they are all quite gifted. Blessed parents!
-
A judge not turning around does not mean they do not acknowledge the talent of the kids. Sometimes, they just consider the style and genre of the singer. Sometimes they think the kid will do better under the mentorship of a certain judge.
-
I can't believe these kids can sing like this. The guitar is bigger than them. Amazing kids.
-
Singíng in the Philippines is a way of life in my country, it is our way of praising Jesus for His goodness!
-
Singing is part of our lives. When we're happy, we sing, when we're lonely we sing. It seems that we can't live without music 😁❤️
-
A number of those kids are now some of the best artists in the Philippines.
-

If music IS the language of the soul, then, we are expressing our souls through singing.
-
One of the reasons too why these kids are very confident singing in front of the audience, aside from the Karaoke, our parents when they found out we can sing or dance, every visitors coming in our house we need to perform. 😂 Even in their company Christmas party, parents will take us to sing or dance. That's how proud they were to us. I miss my dad 😢 seing those daddys supporting their kids. I'm so proud of this kids and with their very supportive family. Thank you for appreciating Filipino talents.
-
These kids are like seasoned performer. They are not distracted by the judges and people in front of them.
-
And you wonder why Filipinos are great singers, that's because we start them young.
