After three months of excavations and dozens of sarcophagi found, more surprises lie in store for Zahi Hawass.     OOOh Hawass discovered a mummy with gold instead of an old stick. Wonder which will end up in his stash :)

    The entrance was narrow. I was the first to go in. I saw the mummy with a lapis and gold scarab on its forehead. I slid back out and said amazing! He has a stick! As my partner went in. I put the scarab in my pocket. Another amazing find. The stick must be important.

    I absolutely love these types of archaeologist discovery’s I love trying to solve why they were mummified in a certain way I love piecing together and trying to solve the mystery I love figuring out why they are buried with what they are buried with

    9:21 Observe that some workers are wearing rubber gloves and some are not. This raises a potential DNA contamination of the mummy.

    Imhotep was moved by Moses to the land of the Canaanites because Imhotep is the Egyptian name for Joseph. They won't find his body in Egypt. His tomb was found long ago and it was empty.
