ibis Paint X:

* Strengths:
* More versatile - offers drawing and animation features.
* Wider brush selection and customization options.
* Supports layers for better organization.
* Free version with in-app purchases for premium features.

* Weaknesses:
* Animation features might not be as robust as FlipaClip.
* Learning curve might be steeper for beginners.

FlipaClip:

* Strengths:
* Simpler interface, easier to learn for beginners.
* Primarily focused on animation, with features like onion skinning for smoother animation.
* Free version with limitations, paid version unlocks all features.

* Weaknesses:
* Limited drawing capabilities compared to ibis Paint X.
* Fewer brush options and customization.
* Lacks layer organization features.

Here are some additional factors to consider:

* Your experience level: If you're new to animation, FlipaClip might be easier to start with

* Your project type: If you want to create simple animations, FlipaClip might suffice. For more complex animation or if you also want to draw illustrations, ibis Paint X is a better choice

* Budget: Both apps have free versions, but ibis Paint X's free version might be more limited.

I recommend checking out some tutorials and reviews for both apps to see which one suits your workflow better.

    If the layers were connected to each other, I would have chosen Ibispaint
  • The thing about Ibispaint Is that It's Quality is a little Off but Have every Tool you need in animation Except for Adding Audio and plus, Can Add more details. While in Flipaclip, Has Better quality But Lesser Tools, Has an Add Audio But We can't Necessarily Animage Details

    Ibs paints animation feature is amazing! I love it BUT... i absolutely NEED sound! Soo i preferred flipaclip even tho its harder to draw :_(
  • @Berriezz
    As much as I like the animation feature for ibis paintx I just feel more comfortable with flipaclip lol
  • @TriggeredCogzy
    Hopefully Ibispaint will add the things that flipaclip has in the future

    Like always COOLER ANIMATION EVER ❤
  • @masonANDnathan
    Yes i like ibispaint x animation and also than flipaclip i love it this apps are awesome!
  • ibisPaint would be stronger if it have layers management.. means i cannot add layers for multiple frames.. i have to add layer by going to every each single frames... Which is frustrating... Even in order to lower opacity i have to go through every single frames one by one ... .. i dunno would they fix these or not ..
  • I use both, for line art i use flipaclip then i export the frames to ibispaint where i do the coloring, The only problem on ibis paint is that adding a layer in the first frame does not automatically do the same thing to other frames, while the problem on flipaclip is limited layers and brushes

    It's remind me about the prototype animation... it's not done because I need a pen to make an animation and it could be easy to me... but I don't have my money to buy that pen... it's takes too long to wait... By the way, thanks for the information about that...😊
  • @banonos
    Thank you but also screw me for not searching this earlier because I spent HOURS trying to find where I could add audio on ibis
  • I think that IbisPaint is better than FlipaClip, but the fact that you can't put an audio in IbisPaint makes me really sad :( I hope that they will add this in the future
  • @aliemad1743
    We must wait for further updates to see if it is good or not
