As a Finn I find the whole comparison between forests up here and in Cali completely ridiculous. Finland is in the arctic, it's covered entirely in forest (except in the far north where trees don't grow) and one could basically either ski or swim through that forest all year around. Finland is cold. Finland is wet. That's why Finland isn't on fire.

Almost three years later and this still makes me laugh out loud. Seth Meyer is one of the most genuinely funny people in the U.S. I think it's because he gets such a kick out of his material and sharing it makes him so happy.

i gotta say finnish social media has never been as entertaining as it was yesterday. someone posted a picture of a tree branch with just one leaf left, saying "just waiting for that last leaf to fall so i can rake it. any minute now" and i just about died laughing.

To be fair, there is a thing called the "forest floor". Seth , being a city boy, maybe hasn't heard of that. But all the rest is a slam dunk. So glad that slab of lard is no longer in the White House embarrassing us.
