What has McLintock got that makes it different from all other westerns? It's got a tender love story! It's got good clean fun! It's got a warm story of family devotion!

He likes his whiskey hard... His women soft... And his west all to himself! Ageing, wealthy, rancher and self-made man, George Washington McLintock is forced to deal with numerous personal and professional problems. Seemingly everyone wants a piece of his enormous farmstead, including high-ranking government men, McLintock's own sons and nearby Native Americans. As McLintock tries to juggle his various adversaries, his wife—who left him two years previously—suddenly returns. But she isn't interested in George; she wants custody of their daughter.

  • I’m only 22 years old and grew up with my grandpa and step father who watched these westerns everyday and still do. It’s sad we don’t get much like this anymore, and most my age wouldn’t care to even consider watching some of these older classics. I’m appreciative of every laugh this movie brought thankfully I know how to pick a good movie. 🙏

Another great movie I wish I never saw, so I could enjoy it even more. I've been watching this one and others for 40+ years...and yes, I'm going to watch it again 😅👌

Thank you for uploading. Love it and to been able to meet two stars from this show makes it more special. Thank you Patrick Wayne for being patient down in the stockyards at the JW Experience

@1:16:16 WOW when Becky is gazing down at (fawning over) Dev, i think that she is so breathtakingly beautiful. i mean, i always thought that Stephanie Powers was gorgeous but my first memories of her were from the series Hart to Hart. “Jennifer Hart” was always perfect & put together. lol one of many childhood heroes. ANYWAY! .. ok got it, always perfection without fail .. but still, in the scene that i’m talking about she appears somehow ethereal in a way i hadn't seen before or since!? Guess someone found her angelic side?😇 That scene enchants me every time! 🤟

Maybe it’s because he’s Mr John Wayne aka the DUKE, the toughest tough guy! All i know is that when GW is introduced to Mrs Warren, i DIE when his voice cracks as he queries “your MO-THER!?!” Honestly don’t know why but to me, that was the Duke at his adorable-ist! 🧸💕
