  • Hello. This is Mark Lund the writer/director of First Signal. I want to thank you all for watching and commenting on the film. Your support of independent cinema makes it possible for filmmakers like me to continue producing. On behalf of all of us that brought First Signal to life, my thanks again.
  • Anyone else notice that all the devices searching for intelligent life are pointed AWAY from Earth?

Considering its low budget, this Sci-Fi movie truly stands out as an impressive achievement. As a Sci-Fi fan, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the film. Kudos to the Writer/Director for crafting a storyline that felt plausible and engaging throughout. The actors' performances were commendable, making the characters believable and relatable. I'd like to extend my gratitude to all those involved in the making of this film. Despite the budget constraints, they managed to create a captivating experience. The dedication and effort put into this project are evident in every aspect of the movie. In conclusion, this low-budget movie exceeded my expectations and is a must-watch for Sci-Fi enthusiasts. Well done to the entire team for their hard work and passion! - Love from Australia 🦘🦘🦘

I was going to stop this movie after 10minutes, but it started to get me thinking. I saw the three and had formed the opening early they were Aliens. I now stayed to see if friendly. I have always wondered how technology has leapt in bounds since the 1900’s. Maybe there is more to this movie than just a story. The Alien Aircraft do resemble some Aircraft under development now. The low budget did not make this movie feel any less special than some high budget movies that were much more predictable. I did really enjoy it. Well done.

Tbh, I didn't hold out much hope for the film in the first ten minutes , but I held on till the end, and I'm glad I did, the plot is very well written and does make for a really interesting movie. It makes a change to have a thought provoking film rather than than people blowing each other up.
  • For a low budget movie, I was enthralled with the dialogue. Very interesting to hear 2 sides of the argument. I like the movie, although I thought the ending was a little iffy. However, it left room for a lot of potential. I would love to see a part II.
  • Almost no special effects or annoying cuts. Just story. And what a good story. Bravo!
  • @SteveAttwood
Wow. This was waay better than most of the lower budget Sci-Fi out there! Really deserves a sequel!! Well done Mr Lund
  • It's what you see between the lines ,that's important, some of these science fictions give you more truth than NASA will ever reveal lol
  • @TheSageSeer
I don’t think we need a part 2 movie because this was the premise & part 2 will play out right before our eyes.

Madame President almost looks like Steven Tyler

At the end when the small case was opened I really wanted her to find a chocolate-glazed doughnut with rainbow sprinkles.

Finally!!! The kinda movie I've been lookin for ever since I saw "The Network" (1976) and John Carpenter's "They Live" (1988). Like someone else mentioned earlier, the first 10 minutes or so is a lil shaky and might turn you off but I encourage you to get through it. The rest of the movie is WELL WORTH IT ❤

Hollywood has a lot to learn. What is produced today is formulaic and vacuous. Thank you for not insulting the intelligence of your viewers. I could see this material adapted to the theater. I hope I will see more drama like this. It is well suited for today's Space Age.
