That last one is cursed. I used to have that idea if the land was water and the water was land. Now it looks way more cursed than I imagined

There is no excuse for the blasphemy at 1:40. My only conclusion for such an utterly wrong map is that the textbook publishers hired a 101-year-old retiree professor, geographer, and cartographer with advanced dementia, cataracts thick as saucers, and stubborn as an incontinent mule, who insisted that there was still a Rhodesia and wondered what would become of Kaiser Wilhelm after the Mexican Army seized his favorite brewery in 1495 and started cranking out Corona Extra. They sat him down, dropped a ton of reference books on his desk, and said "make us a political map using flags to illustrate the nations - just go crazy with it". He then swiped the books off the desk with his cane in a fit of pique, and set to work from memory (or lack thereof). Without any editing or fact-checking, it was duly added to the school atlas, with 3/4ths of nations missing, fictional, or grafted to its neighbours (see North America), and a bizarre mix of ancient, outmoded, modern, and proposed flag designs. I mean, what a freaky crazy-quilt that monstrosity is...
