This would've gotten a 10 if it was made by White Country, New Road
  • @IveGotToast
"If it leads to a Black Country, then I'm gonna find a New Road." Very poetic Anthony, but I'm not quite sure what you mean.
  • Would’ve been a 10/10 if they had more lyrics about Billie Eilish
  • @bevloy7517
Not to be dramatic but The Place Where He Inserted The Blade is the best song ever made.

This album is what millennials must have felt like when Arcade Fire came out with Funeral
  • @aurielblue
Anthony, If it was called the place where he inserted the bladee you would’ve given it a 10.
  • Its crazy seeing how far the band has matured in only a year, sad we wont see Isaac continue with them, but im still excited to see where they go from here

Snowglobes being your least favorite is a tragedy, but honestly, I don't think I could pick a least favorite.

Damn, was really hoping we were gonna get the eighth album in history today.

60’s- philosophy of the world 70’s- tango (self titled) 80’s- hi, how are you? 90’s- in the aeroplane over the sea 00’s- the glow, pt. 2 10’s- twin fantasy 20’s- ants from up there

I think the overbearing and loudness of the drums in snow globes was a perfect pair with isaacs cries and shouts at the climax of the track. But to each their own I suppose.

Was literally listen to snow globes and IF THAT IS THE WORST TRACK IT MEANS THAT THIS IS A MASTERPIECE Btw I adore That track especially that part, but y'know opinions
  • It's ok Anthony, we know you're upset knowing that snow globes don't shake on their own
  • This album is getting the best critical reception for an alternative album in a very very long time. Lowest score its gotten according to Wikipedia was an 8.4 from pitchfork. It has a 93 Metactitic score, which is ridiculous.

I theorize that this album will become a historical mark of the 20’s

Just such a shame we‘ll likely not get to hear these songs live in a packed audience. Was set to go to the show in Brooklyn in a couple of weeks :(. Wishing the best to Isaac. Legendary 2 album run.

This man really gave a Black Country, New Road album a 9 instead of a 10 during Black History Month😐
  • I think your comparison of Isaac's delivery to David Byrne's is really interesting. I didn't think about it until you said it. Both have similar feelings, but I feel like their totally different and unique in that Byrne's anxiety is the type where you can't stay still, and Isaac's is the type where you don't want to move a muscle. I think the music that supports their lyrics and delivery really keys in to their slightly different styles. Good catch!

You know the album is good when everyone is making genuine comments about the album instead of repetitive jokes that have been said 10000 times
