MXE2000 | Retrofit the NEW Sound Enclosure to any Waring MX blender!

Published 2023-05-31
To retrofit the new SE1500 to any MX blender is easy! Follow these quick and easy steps and you’ll be up and running in no time!

Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary parts to complete the installation.

Components:
- Sound enclosure
- Jar pad
- Adaptor ring
- 4 screws

On your current MX blender, remove the jar pad.

Locate the 3 or 4 screw holes situated on the upper housing’s left, black, front, and right sides.

*MX bases produced before 2023 will only require 3 screws. MX bases produced after 2023 will require 4 screws.

Place the adaptor ring on the top of the motor housing so the screw holes line up with the adaptor ring.

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver and the 3 or 4 screws included with the sound enclosure to secure the adaptor ring to the base unit.

Once the adaptor ring is secured, wrap the new jar pad around the three tabs. After the jar pad is secured in place…

Hold the lower part of the rear sound enclosure housing firmly. Make sure that each tab on the blender base is aligned with the openings in the sound enclosure. Once properly attached, the sound enclosure should feel securely fitted around the MX blender base.

The sound enclosure is designed to accommodate the standard 48 oz. and 64 oz. MX jars or the 32 oz. Ellipse™ jar.

With the sound enclosure retrofitted, you are ready to use your Ellipse™ system on your MX blender.
