It's a theme that sticks out and feels like a "wrestling theme." You had that with the New Generation & Attitude Era especially. It's good to have something that feels genuine to represent a pro wrestler.

I dipped in & out of AEW shows at the beginning, so I never heard Cody's Kingdom theme until his Wrestlemania debut. WOW, the energy, the crowd & the massive pop that all went with that blew me away with tingles. It's something special.

It’s like when Ric Flair had that weird “off brand” version of his theme…just doesn’t complete the gimmick the same way. 😊

In fairness it’s not a AEW theme, he simply used it while under contract for them. The band came to him so the music is 100% just Cody’s theme. He used it ever since leaving WWE the first time, all over the indies and Japan.

To be 1000% honest, hearing “Kingdom” at WrestleMania when Cody returned actually made me a fan of his. It’s a perfect entrance song imho. I workout to it. I like to have it one while I’m driving down the highway. If I’m feeling down or upset, it picks my mood up. No other entrance music has been in my rotation quite as heavy as Kingdom - except maybe “No More Words.”

As good as Kingdom is I would’ve been fine if he returned with Smoke and Mirrors, both are great theme songs.
