Amelia meets her football heroes | Nike | Lionesses | Football Beyond Borders

Hey everyone! This is a bit different to my usual videos but I really think you will love it. As you know I love interviewing footballers and when Nike asked me if I'd like to make a video for them with the England Women's football team, I knew it was time to do something a bit unique. Including both the Lionesses and the young people from my charity partner Football Beyond Borders was extremely important to me as i wanted to create a film that sends out a positive message, showing how these women are breaking down barriers and empowering others to do the same. I hope you enjoy watching this and try to catch some of the Women's World Cup games that are happening right now! Love you all and see you for my next video :) xxx

Love it!

This nearly made me cry - as a female footballer from the Caribbean I started off playing with guys too. I was too scared to join em most of the time but there was ONE other girl who'd play with them and I got the courage to join. Also shout out to the guys for letting me play with them when my skills sucked and then encouraged me when I got better. There was no female team in my neighbourhood till I turned 14. The boys team would always show up and cheer- it's great to be supported by fellow women and men just humans supporting each other.

this was an amazing video! i LOVED seeing the parallels between the Lionesses and the young people from the FBB. it really gives a great insight into how barriers still exist, how brave young people are still breaking them, and why it's important for organisations like FBB to exist. i love your usual content, and i loved this, too!

This is so wonderful. I wanted to cry during parts of it, and I'm only halfway through. The young people are especially amazing, brave, and cool. Amelia, you are inspirational as well. I think people especially women being themselves and taking up space is really the best. 😭
