    That’s a lot of work to keep the water flowing in your sluice. I would suggest you turn it into a rocker box,less water to dip up and more material processed and less work. You will catch almost all of the gold in the apron .

    Depends where you live i suppose, in Alberta Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦, dredging, is absolutely outlawed so there is NO going for ANY material under the water πŸ’¦ as seen here. #2 the silt laden water off the end of the sluice is NOT allowed back into the flow of the river. I realize there are different rules in other places, but if law enforcement ever found us doing these 2 things, they could suspend your placer mining license.
