Routh's elevator change is my favourite. There's no dissolves, no spins, you literally see his "Clark" clothes fall away as he flies up the elevator shaft and it's seamless. The shirt rips are iconic of course but this is the only one where there's no question or trickery when it comes to his clothes.

From a little boy watching George Reeves portraying Superman until today, I'm 70 years old and Superman is still fresh with me. The legend of Superman embraces the good that a person can be. It is what all good human beings want to see in others and desires for this world. Others today may rave about the Marvel superheroes or even Batman, but The Man of Steel set the standard.

Although my favorite is Henry, but I think Christopher is the most iconic Superman ever to grace the screen and he is the true embodiment of a Superman, because after Christopher Reeve, the superman looks are modeled mostly after him and when we say someone has that superman or Clark Kent look, people immediately think of Reeve’s Superman. And, when casting new actors to play Superman, fans and audiences most certainly expect an actor who not only look similar to Christopher Reeve, but also has the same charisma and aura as him.
