Sounded like a bag of bolts being shook.
-
I could see Johnny machine one that actually works. 😂😂😂
-
Glad you didn't have to lock wire all the nuts and bolts.
-
Cool, that's exactly how the engines of a Ryanair jet sound like. What an astonishing level of detail!
-
Man that thing was not machined well. Main shaft not in balance fins moving and scrapping housing. Johnny needs to make a high quality one
-
alright, now recreate the video of the guy dropping a screw down it
-
Awesome! I'm a former Turbofan Test Engineer for Lockheed and Rolls-Royce at Stennis Space Center, from 2007-2012, testing the Trent 900, 1000, and XWB engines for the Airbus A380, Boeing 787, and Airbus A350. I've got to get me one of these!
-
For the cost i would expect that to be machined better. Cool table piece though.
-
I was looking at it thinking the tolerances were lousy and wondering if it would be rectified on tightening all the fixings, now I know why it’s not a working model.. My dreams are shattered! lol 😅
-
sad the tolerances are so bad could have been a really nice model rotating silently
-
Come on Johnny!!! It only takes a sparkplug and some nitro hahahaha. Nice build!
-
Now fit a 12S brushless system on there and lets see some thrust😂
-
You should shim up the blades with paper so it doesn't sound like someone threw a bag of pennies inside that thing. :))
-
I have been thinking of making one and this came up. Makes me want to print one today.
-
Beautiful piece of engineering. Be great to see one that actually runs with fuel.
-
That’s sooooo freakin awesome
-
love these engine builds....
-
Friggin Sweet dude!
-
I'm watching the assembly of this turbofan engine and having one continuous thought while seeing all of these parts coming together......." I am never boarding a commercial airliner again!"
-
Sounds like a genuine China Airlines domestic jet.
