Lifelong resident of GR here. That was great to watch, I never knew of Max's South Beach Hideaway before. Fantastic overview of my city...it's funny you mentioned the Pantlind Hotel as a movie set because it actually was for a movie called, "The Steam Experiment", starring Val Kilmer and Armand Assante. There was about a 4 year period where Hollywood used Grand Rapids as a backdrop for many movies. "30 Minutes Or Less", "The End Of The Tour" and a few movies by 50 Cent.
