I love how this scene shows how much stronger Midoriya has become. Not giving into his emotions but fighting with his will and grit. He has also become significantly more powerful and his mastery over his ability makes the viewer feel like he's holding back. Incredible writing.

They brought back a villain that used to be a huge threat that almost killed the MC, just to get no diffed by that same protagonist. IMO, this is the perfect way of showcasing how much Deku has learned and grown since the earlier seasons.
