    Kitana is one of my favorite MK characters. She’s just great her design has always been interesting emphasizing the royalty element but still making her feel like a ninja, bladed fans which I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else use, her backstory from slave of Shao Khan to fighter for the realms and savior of her home, some great fatalities, and her romance with Liu Kang giving us some heartfelt and sweet scenes in a franchise where we usually see people literally ripping eachothers hearts out. She’s just a good character and definitely belongs in the ranks of fighting game female fighters next to Chun Li and Morrigan Aslend.

    I jumped into this series from the NRS games. Although the original timeline seems much cooler, it always saddens me how Kitana just seems to get the short end of the stick.
