BBS D-Links Are Useless Apparently (Level 1 Critical Mode)

D-links brought "My Friends Are My Power" to whole new level.

I'd often find myself using D-links as a more powerful backup plan. Sort of like "And for his second phase, he uses D-links!"

D-Links definetely are powerful. But I think the reason that made a good chunk of people believe they were "useless" because they weren't as flashy as Command Styles, weren't as immediately beneficial as shotlocks, and weren't as spammable as busted garbage like Thunder/Fire Surge (for bosses) or Magnet/Thunder/Mine spam (for mobs). It just took people some time to notice yet another busted thing in the huge list of laundry list of busted things in the mess known as BbS as experimenting usually equaled a swift and sudden death on any difficulty above standard.

I never thought I would need to see the Spirit of the Mirror repeatedly flung about like a frisbee, but now I'm glad this exists.

The Unknown is way too strong! There's no way anyone could survive fighting it! Aqua: I'll try spinning! That's a good trick!

The best part of this showcase was when Aqua said "IT'S GOOFY TIME" and goofed all over that guy.

I never bothered to use D-Links but holy crap Peter Pan could've been really useful for Terranort

Ventus's Haste D-Link could even be more powerful if you have all Combo Plus and Air Combo Plus.

I know a lot of people complain how this game (and other KH games to an extent) have too many ways to cheese it. But personally that's what I like about these games! A lot of the KH games give you so many options to beat down enemies with. Sure some options might make some parts ways easier, but it's so satisfying to do it that I don't feel like it even matters.

Haste alone fixes 90% of the problems Terra comes with. Now I've just gotta... actually execute a win over certain Jedi blocking my Terra critical run...

Ventus' speed on Terra is a godsend.

I just did my first level 1 CM playthrough of BBS, and despite the frustration at some parts, it really forces you to use niche strategies, including D-Links, which can end a fight in a matter of seconds even at LV1.
