Welcome to Colombo! This is our first full day here in Sri Lanka and we are so excited to explore its capital city. In this video, we explore the bustling Pettah Market, get our first taste of Sri Lankan food and soak in the top sights in the city. We hadn't heard the best things about Colombo but we were so surprised with what we found.

    you should definitely try Original Chicken Submarine from Dinemore at Thurstan Road, Colombo 07. It's a local fast-food chain and we love it there!!!

    The green lake is called "Beira" Lake it was buit by the British to transport goods to Colombo. Its stagnant water so it's polluted water. It's not been used anymore!
