The fact that Yoko Shimomura is able to take a song she composed back in 2002 and is still able to improve upon it with unique takes will never cease to amaze me.

Man...usually Dearly Beloved is soft and slow almost like it's telling a sad story between two people, but this feels like it's a joyous occasion between lots of people, like it's the peak of keyblade wielding.
  • With this version I can almost imagine a bunch of keyblade weilders in like a big dining hall in a castle banging cups and clapping as they sing it

They can take your world, they can take your heart, cut you loose from all you know. But if the music is bopping then every step forward, will always be a step closer to the dance party.

I didn't think there would be a better rendition than the melody of memory one but THIS ONE HITS DIFFERENT
  • @NABITO700
I love the vibe they’re going for with the new dearly beloved’s

I love that they're branching Dearly Beloved out into more genres. We all expected KH3's to be very large and grand and emotional. Then MoM came out and slapped us in the face with that jazz. And now Missing Link's got that acapella going strong.

This was not Yoko Shimomura . The arrangement and orchestration was handled entirely by Tomomichi Takeoka, who previously did orchestrations for a few of Yuko Komiyama's arrangements in 0.2 and Re Mind (and a couple of songs in the World of Tres orchestra). Source: On Takeoka's personal website, he listed himself for arrangement and orchestration (編曲、オーケストレーション) for the "KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link Trailer" (YT won't let me link it)

This gives off the same vibe as someone going to a prestigious school, and being completely awe struck by the sight of it all while another person gives them a tour of the whole facility.

I suddenly heard Demyx saying in my head: "Keep to the beat!"
  • @kag2576
    TOMOMICHI! DOES! NOT! MISS!
  • There was no reason for this to go as hard as it did…but good god am I here for it, this is some of the best KH music I’ve ever heard.
  • @Anthony_Smith365
Could you imagine if this played during Sora's reveal trailer for Smash? I would of ascended.
  • @foofynono123
When that beat drops I fell like I need to start marching, like a cheerleader at a football game, and that's how Kingdom Heart music should make you feel!
  • @Neatrior
Well, I did not think they could top the Nostalgic effect of Dearly Beloved from Kh1 on me, but this just hits different and immediately SLAPS. Lets go BOYS!
