What policies? The advocates of this protest are only calling for a reversal of the removal of the fuel subsidy. Why not other policies, like a return to regional government or devolution of power to subnational units? Why not accountability from the state government as part of their plan? What they keep saying is the fuel subsidy. If I were Mr. President, if the interest of the protesters is to make the country ungovernable, he should call for a national referendum.
