I couldn’t imagine living with a condition like that, I’m so glad there’s treatment available

Just seeing the spine stretch to the person's full height made me feel so good I bet that's a lot of relief once healed

holy cow. isn't it amazing and horrifying at the same time?

I wonder how the surgeon would deal with the muscles and organs. This only shows the skeleton, but surely this surgery would affect much more than that. I mean, wouldn't such a drastic change in body position mean that you'd have to fix where everything else is too?

I remember about a girl who had this operation but the results were much better, her spine is completly normal now but she suffered from psicological issues, she was a teenager, the stigma of uglyness of the outside look of the operation, the gigantic scar. Hope she is doing well now.
  • For those who are wondering about the initial condition, he was just built different.

This makes me appreciate my relatively normal spine

  • That looks like it would take an unbelievable amount of time. It would have to take at least 15 hours probably more.
