He said to tell your dad "I have very fond memories of you and assorted friends and brothers and sisters of mutual friends. My wife Susie knew Vivienne before she passed away. It was so good to see what you have done with your lives. Our son John is a friend of your nephew. I had not been aware of your life at Gorge River. You should know that you are missed by your friends very much. The first video we watched is very inspiring. Love and best wishes to you and your family. You were aged about 18 with your female friend from Rosco's. Next day you disappeared into the mist, climbing up Barrington Peak in heavy Fiordland rain. Gosh you can see all the sandflies flying around Robin as she's talking. I have experienced extreme sandflies at the Nelson Lakes while camping and they were so crazy! Getting in our hair, our eyes, mouth! It was a short stay!
