A Must Watch!! My 1st time Exploring this Beautiful Lake!

Big Bear Lake , dare I say the most beautiful lake in southern California? Snow Summit was my second home back in the early 90's when I was in my teens and 20's snowboarding. Now I'm in my early 50"s and enjoying the 4x4 life. Sin City Outdoors content never disappoints!

Big Bear is a hidden gem for Southern California. Decent ski/snowboard in the winter, oktoberfest, fishing off the rocks by the dam, observatory, amazing camping and off road trails!

I used to fish at Big Bear Lake back in the 80's. I remember getting skunked while these little kids right next to me were slamming huge rainbows right next to me. Same bait. Same set ups. They just weren't hitting mine. Crazy! Anyway, it was always great fun. It's pretty awesome to have such a beautiful place so close to L.A. Great video guys!❤️

that trout looked like a kokenee, which is actually a landlocked silver salmon. thats why the meat is reddish.

So cool. I just found you guys one video ago. Your channel is so much different than what I usually watch. I love your positive attitude. I like the fact that you show us some history of the area that you are at. You even gave me a fish filet lesson and show what lure or bait you used to catch the fish. The only part of your adventure that I wouldn't like to do is the dawn to dusk fishing. It reminded me of my dad and my uncle going out fishing all day and my brother and I were trapped in the boat with them. I much prefer to fish on shore for an hour or two and then explore the rest of the day. So, I will watch your channel instead. By the way I see that you have nearly half a million subscribers. Fantastic. I just joined your subscriber list.

We used to go to Big Bear to play in the snow when I was a kid. 60's - early 70's.

I live 30 minutes from Big Bear at the base of the mountain off the 210 and the 330 in highland, if you think Big Bear is beautiful you should check out Silverwood on the back side of the mountains there are a ton of little lakes you missed like Green valley crestline jenks lake. If you're ever back down in this area and you're looking to do shore fishing even boat fishing let me know I can help you out
