Stockholm - the only capital city where I have seen a crowd build up to see a man land a fish. And where I first enjoyed watching the world go past from a coffee shop

The "bear, reindeer" line followed by showing sheep was hilarious! Almost spit my wine out haha. Super fun video. Well done!

04:20 That ship that is a youth hostel (af Chapman) is for sale if you need a central place to stay...

9:54 the ~40 euros is for the annual pass. A single ticket for adults is between 18 and 25 euros depending on the season. (kids are around 8 euro)

The VASA museum is also a must see in Stockholm.
  • ANOTHER TRAIN VIDEO COMING!!?? You are very much a girl after my little ol' heart. I love a good train trip. Can't wait to see what you get up to on your latest train adventure and really loved this video. I've not been to Sweden unfortunately. But I'm looking forward to one day visiting a friend in Finland, and then going through Sweden and Norway and ideally, visiting Svalbard for it's farthest north community vibes

  • The Cafe Sten Sture has an interesting history. In 1792 the king Gustav III was killed by a man called Jacob Johan Anckarström. He was found guilty and was held imprisoned in the dungeon until he was hanged. The dungeon is part of todays Cafe Sten Sture.

That "palace" was always intended to be an elderly care home. The turn of the century from 19th to 20th was just a time for making everything pompous.

I used to live on the top floor of the building opposite the Nobel museum at Stortorget. I like to say its the least photographed building in Gamla Stan since its right next to the much more interesting coloured buildings, still fun to see it on every vlog pretty much
