lucas' acting this episode, it hurt so much more, seeing him so hurt. brilliant acting from all the kids this season, it's been such a thrilling journey watching all our babies grow up, and be badasses. need season 5 now !!!!!

"Erica help!" made my whole body shake! Those kids got sooooo good in acting 😭

The acting by Lucas and Max in this episode was incredible. Same with Dustin in the scene with Eddie. Eleven’s acting is just top notch as usual. This episode as a whole was such a ride. The season was amazing. This is truly one of the best shows to ever be put out in the world. They did such a fantastic job.

the part that broke me is when Max said "i'm not ready to go-i'm not ready!". after max has suffered from depression and trauma all season, and has alluded to possibly having thoughts of suicide (i think vecna is a metaphor for that), but then the moment she is dying she realizes she's not ready to...wrecked me and is something a lot of us with mental health issues can relate to.

Eddie's death was signposted by the fact he could never be proven innocent of the charges against him, and as such he had nothing to live for, but the real gut punch was the scene with his uncle, who genuinely cared for him, showing that Eddie did have something to live for... It was a really important addition to the tragedy of the character...

Eddie's death hit me so hard, right after seeing his uncle looking for him and Dustin making that speech, I hadn't cried this much in a while. Rest in peace Eddie!🎸❤️🕊️

Caleb McLaughlin was phenomenal, his performance made me cry the hardest I ever have watching this show

Caleb McLaughlin knocked it out of every single park on earth with that performance, it physically & emotionally broke me seeing Lucas get that emotional

Max's faux death scene hit me harder than anything in the whole series. A terrified young kid desperately trying to survive.

It really freaked me out when El went in to Max’s mind at the end and she was no longer in there, like she was just EMPTY. I’m still processing that, because the Duffers clearly want us to keep thinking about where the line is and what you can come back from…. Like I was originally surprised that she was alive and talking when she fell, even though she was clearly dying and terrified (and MY GOD all the applause to Sadie and Caleb in that scene) after Vecna certainly started his process on her…. wow, there’s just so much to unpack.

Am I the only one who's enjoying this episode as a Cinematic Movie or what?! Not that I had no problem with it's length, even I enjoyed it more. They did a fantastic job with keeping everyone involved in the plot in this 2 and a half hrs episode. The Duffer Brothers brought a whole new level to the TV Show standards. Loved it so much. Just hope Netflix somehow do the weekly release for this show, instead of dropping it all at once. I for one love to spent more time in Hawkins.

Man Eddies death got me good, tears and all. Max's "death" was legitimately terrifying too.

Love how Lucas was reading Max "The Talimsan" by Stephen King and Peter Straub. That book had a very similar world to the Upside Down known as the Territories. This show knows how to pay homage.

Eddie's last words "I love you, man" and Lucas's "Erica help!" were improvised by their actors. Hop and Joyce's kiss at the Gulag was also not in the script.

when henry said “try and stay very still, it’ll all be over soon” that was a parallel to Billy in season 3 which shows that vecna has always been behind everything

The actors who played Lucas, Max, Eleven, and Eddie really made this season for me. The writing and character development was 🔥they were ACTING and it all came to a head in this finale

This season was so good. No show has made me cry as much as this season lol I loved it all the way through!

People don’t give Noah enough love. Anytime they give him a meaty scene, he crushes it. Will’s my favorite. 😍

That “Erica, Help!.” Absolutely destroyed me.
