About Mary

Welcome to my channel, my name is Mary and I started a thru-hike of the AT in April of last year. My channel (MaryTravels) was created to document my hike.

As it turned out, it was a kind of a short story! I was very disappointed in my physical ability, and when someone tells you the trail is mostly mental, believe them! So literally a year later (April 2023), I put the past behind me, and I am at it again with a new perspective of how I plan to accomplish my dream and goal to finish this trail! I hope you will check-in on me, and follow my adventure.

In addition, since my new channel name is MaryTravels, I will be posting a review of Ga State Parks (the good, bad & ugly) as well as eclectic adventures!
