important news (not clickbait)

I should be announcing this on november, but I'm doing this early. I hate to break it up to you guys, but I'm officially leaving this website permanently on may 2024 (not may 2023) after I graduate from high school. this is not a joke project or a fake leaving project like what most people do on april fools day. this will also apply to my alts. I won't be deleting my accounts so that you can still have fun looking at my projects. here are the reasons why

one is because the scratch moderation sucks. they keep on removing my projects and muting me for the dumbest reasons. over the past two years on scratch, I've gotten about fourty alerts, and most of them were not inappropriate projects. I'm feeling like the scratch moderation is about as bad as the deviantart moderation. sadly it might apply to other social networking websites

another reason is because of my fanbase. this is not targeted towards anyone who is a chill fan of me, but I have a lot of fans that are extremely toxic and overprotective for me and they are whiteknights. it feels like my fanbase is a cult according to a few of my homies

the third reason is that scratch is literally taking over my life. this is the biggest disadvantage when it comes to me being popular and having over a thousand followers. I am extremely underrated on sketchers united because I have less than 60 followers. I really have to start doing other things in life rather than spending my lifetime on this website. also I'm turning 18 on november and I might feel a bit too old for this website (in my opinion) and I don't want people to think that I'm creepy towards minors because of my age (I would never in my life be a creep towards children like what a sicko would do)

and the last reason is the toxicity. if my fanbase wasn't bad enough, the entire scratch community is worse. I've had troll feeders, numberblock stans, fnf stans, a child predator, and an impersonator attack me during the time I've been on this website. I'm not tagging any of these users because I don't want people harassing them

and this is the end of this rant about what I've witnessed on this hell of a website. don't expect me to ever come back to this dumpster fire after may 2024. if my account ever gets banned and I have to write an appeal, then my departure from scratch will happen early and the ban will be announced on my alt if that doesn't get banned too. if you still want to keep in touch with me, I have a sketchers united account which will still be active after 2024 and my username is the same as my scratch username, @kirbyfan2021. I might think about making an adacraft account sometime. even if my scratch account doesn't get banned (hopefully) during that time period, you'll still have a whole another year to see me make projects before I leave this website. I really hate having to announce this, but it has to be done and for my own good. don't cry because I'm gone, smile because I was here :)
