  • If Gordon Ramsay was in that buffet, that will be the most insane Kitchen Nightmares episode ever.
  • 110 violations yet they weren’t closed down? Sounds like the food inspector should be inspected.
  • My favorite part about this is that, if they hadn't specified the location, it genuinely could have been from anywhere in this country

This is in Miami if anybody was wondering. You're welcome.
  • It’s insane that the inspector didn’t just shut them down and their license revoked forever. That’s disgusting.

Gordon Ramsay would see God early if he went anywhere near this place

I just realised this was 6 years ago. Seems like we all got it on our recommended randomly

I worked as a health inspector for 20+ years and the most violations a restaurant had was around 60. 110 violations is legitimately not possible, how could they let their restaurant get that bad?
  • I worked for a Chemical Company in Kansas years ago. We got calls for cleaning supplies and degreesers about 2 days before each restraunt in town was to be inspected. In other words... restraunts only clean when they want to stay open. Not for the safety of customers.

I used to work at a restaurant as a dishwasher, and looking back I'm actually super thankful the chefs were so uptight about cleaning the place at the end of every night. There are so many restaurants people go to that they wouldn't if they knew what the kitchen looked like.
  • As former Cook who's been in the restaurant business for 7 years, it frustrates me when I have lazy coworkers who don't take cleanliness and proper food care seriously and cut corners. Left the industry and its been the best decision I've ever made.

disgusting on not only the part of the restaurant but also the inspectors. when i was 14 i contracted e. coli from a family restaurant in maryland. my immune system is already weak because of an eating disorder i’ve had since i was 11, and so i had to be hospitalised and was in the hospital for weeks on iv to prevent my kidneys from failing. after a brief inspection the restaurant was shut down due to multiple violations. i can’t imagine the risks of over 100 violations. insane world we live in that restaurants like that can get away with just a slap in the wrist.
  • My sister is a fine dining chef & she said... "If people knew what goes on in kitchens, they would NEVER go out to eat .."

The problem is these places are not only allowed to reopen, they're allowed to do so without any tighter scrutiny from the health department. Same thing with fire marshals. The fire marshal around here has issued a warning for no fire extinguishers and no exit signs for the last 5 years. No fine, just a "Hey, I'm going to retire eventually so you might want to fix this because the next guy might not let it slide". That is a direct quote.

Local 10 news just walked in and started filming the kitchen lmfao
