Hurricane Beryl is inching closer to the Texas coast, and the latest forecast shows that the storm could hit the southern part of the state before moving north — affecting Houston and the Dallas-Fort Worth area at some point next week.

    See this's why you have to keep up with the weather in hurricane season. I went to bed once and at the 6 o' clock news it was off Vero Beach. I woke up to wind and rain the next day it was just off N.E.Florida's coast! We lost power for two days.

    Hello...he needs to look at the map again.. Brownsville is about 350 miles from Houston. And what about San Antonio and Austin?? How odd for it to make landfall at Brownsville and then jump to DFW???
