Partying with rock stars sounds like it would be fun, and in some cases, it would be. Obviously, plenty of rock legends know how to have a good time, but some have done things while partying that were so extreme that they led to tragedy. Some died from overdoses, while others came pretty close to it, and a few ended up hurting others.

From the truly bizarre way in which Keith Richards decided to honor his dearly departed dad to the time that Aerosmith was so messed up that the Grateful Dead thought they partied too hard, let’s take a look at the hardest partiers in rock and roll history.

Which rocker would you want to party with most?
  • Every cigarette you smoke takes away a day off your life and gives it to Keith Richards.
  • 80s rockstars had their own category of competition, “Who can die for the longest and come back to life?”

Needing to be forcibly sedated by the military has gotta be the hardest party story ever.
  • It's amazing that the members of Motley Crue are still alive with how hard they partied
  • Shooting Billy Idol with a tranquilizer was just another hit he needed.

A lot of people party like rockstars.  But unless you're doing it on stage, nobody really notices.

I love how it took a military tranquilizer to get Billy Idol to vacate a hotel. Love love love it.

As if you've missed Lemmy off of the list!! Even Ozzy Osbourne said he's never met anyone in his life who partied harder than Lemmy

Yes sobriety is boring after years and years of partying. The fear of living a normal life is far greater than the fear of dying.

Y’all did Vince dirty with that thumbnail 😂
  • Honestly I think ozzy doesn’t realize it’s almost 2020..if you ask him anything he will just say well I went on tour in September 1980 and we’ll everything is a blur , ooh wait I think I remember something from 1997 wait never mind it’s gone again
  • List is not complete without mention of Lemmy Kilmister. Doctor said his blood was toxic.

Richards didnt snort his dad to get high. He was mourning him and thought it would be a bonding moment. "They would become one" he said. I think he meant it more lovely then the way the media has done.
