I'm going thur this as I'm typing this, My mother in law has a Ford Eco sport. She just changed the battery in her keyfob! I have the battery disconnected because nothing stops it from going off randomly! windows rolled up all doors, hood and back door all closed! I have cleaned the latches regreased them open shut open shut nothing it still goes off! local dealership Bill Collins ford said it would be almost 2 weeks before they can look at it! crazy!

Great tips, ive had issues with my alarm going off at times, i like my interior to not get cooked by warm climate, so i always leave my window's down a bit,😊, And so I'm thinking air movement by wind and things in the truck like window shades my have been the cause?😅,

So you can’t park it with the windows down after driving around in a spring or summer day?
  • Omg Ya so I fought a fly buzzing around once on a 2016 f150 for intermittent alarm going off from interior motion sensor. Customer said it would go off randomly. Lol I feel your pain
  • Brian what is in the glass that prevents the alarm from detecting the signal? Does the glass have a coating on it? What if you have an aftermarket glass installed? What about the back window if an intruder decides to enter that way. Brian it just seems to me and it’s only my opinion todays cars are just becoming way over the top in technology. Hope all is well. Personally I’ve been looking into and purchasing different Hall effect sensors wether they are linear or threshold activated. Take care Artie 👍

This is another example of how drastically over complicated trucks are these days. Trucks are work vehicles. They don't need a freaking panic alarm. Holy shit, I can't believe they put this crap on trucks. I just super glued the panic buttons on my key fobs. Nobody needs that stupid shit.
